Bogota Pride Fest
About This Event
Bogota Pride Fest, Colombia's biggest circuit festival, comes from El Mozo Club, a major party promoter in Latin America. Thousands show up, from Colombia and elsewhere, for circuit DJs, live shows with dancers, and big names from the Latin American gay scene.
It's a day-and-night thing: a huge outdoor stage, bars, chill-out spots, food trucks, and a vendor village. You'll get three stages, including The Love Stage (the main one) and the Latin Queer Stage (Crossover). It all builds to the El Mozo Pride Dance, an all-night party with serious light and sound.
They haven't announced exact dates for next time, but it usually lines up with Bogotá's annual Marcha LGBT in late June or early July. The festival often takes over Centro de Eventos Autopista Norte, a big venue north of Bogotá. That's about 25 km from Chapinero, the city's main gay neighborhood. Chapinero itself has over a hundred gay and gay-friendly bars, restaurants, and clubs. It's a good place to stay.
