Marcha de la Ciudadanía LGBT — Bogotá Pride

Bogotá's annual LGBTQ+ march, held each July, is one of the most politically charged in South America. It happens in a country whose Constitutional Court has made real progress on queer rights. The march itself brings hundreds of thousands to the city's main avenues—Colombians from all walks of life, out to support full legal equality for LGBTQ+ citizens. Around it, Semana de la Diversidad (Diversity Week) puts queer cultural programming into Bogotá's theaters, galleries, and other venues.
