Old hotel, well restored, centrally located, with good service and good value for money. Good breakfast. The street is busy at night and a bit noisy, but it's a safe neighborhood.

The hotel is quite old, but it has comfortable accommodations, hot water all day, and good service. The breakfast is quite reasonable, and the location is perfect, inside the city walls. We did almost everything on foot in the city.

Beautifully decorated

Basic hygiene standards; the rooms smelled terrible, there were mosquitoes and cockroaches. The service was pleasant, but these conditions were awful.

Well located, colonial style, wonderful terrace with breakfast, overlooking the church towers, and a rooftop bar, jacuzzi, and lounge area with hammocks that are very inviting at sunset. A very complete hotel. The staff's service was excellent—attentive and efficient. Thank you for everything!

Great location in the old town. Due to the historic nature of the building, the waterlines and rooms make you feel a little bit like you are in a dungeon. They are spacious though compared to competition. They offer a pretty great breakfast as well, best I had during my 2 weeks stay across Colombia. Also a great rooftop view.

Very nice hotel in the walled city. The staff is very friendly. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Excellent choice.

The desk attendant is very crook I have reservations for 2 and I brought my freind she is from Venzula and the attendant said she needs Colombian ID to get in , she showed him her venzula id but he refused to let her in than she went and got her paperwork show valid visa to Colombia he still refused so I went to side and gave him 50,000 pesos than he let her in . Very bad guy. This is response to hotel i can't find reply to the hotel comment i can only can do edit so today Feb/6/2026. i will tell the manger i have no reason to lie check my name and the date i was there and check your camera to see that everything i said is true. the reason took me so long to put my review is because i was traveling and was very busy i booked hotel through Priceline i was waiting on price to send me email for hotel review but i don't know why i never got email from Priceline. and now i was planning to come to Cartagena again and i saw your hotel on Priceline i thought maybe i put review and you can take care of the problem and maybe i can stay with you again. most important is when i booked room for 2 people you have to allow second person in when she/he has proper foreigner document, and if the attendant didn't think my friend document is proper than why he let her in after i gave him money? so it is all about money he want to take bribe.
