It was with some students from my son's school, along with my son, my husband, and the teacher, for a competition. Everything was great, the pool was fantastic, they helped us by letting us use the lounge, the breakfast was delicious, the cooks were excellent, and the rooms were very comfortable. The children and my son left very happy. Thank you, Cartagena, and thank you to the hotel!
The Hotel Don Pedro de Heredia is located in the heart of Cartagena's historic center, making it easy to explore. It's housed in a restored red-brick colonial building, characterized by multi-level balconies with wooden railings. The property features a small swimming pool and a sun terrace. The rooms are unfortunately small and mostly windowless, but considering the nearby nightclubs, restaurants, and bars, this might be for the best. However, it's not a good place for those with claustrophobia. The rooms are clean but very simply furnished. Breakfast is so-so, with an average selection. The staff is friendly.
Excellent service from all the staff. The rooms are very basic and could be improved to better serve their guests. The location is fantastic!
Hotel is nice - rooms are lovely and it’s a great location, but pool is tiny and the clubs were thumping next door until 2/3am… beds were also a bit hard, but it’s a good location and fine for a night or two.
