Marcha del Orgullo LGBTIQ+ de Cartagena
About This Event
Cartagena's Pride march takes place in late June. Local LGBTIQ+ groups organise it, among them the Mesa Civil de la Diversidad Sexual and Caribe Afirmativo. El Universal counted about 9,000 marchers in 2025.
The 2026 edition did something new and left the tourist centre. It ran through working-class neighbourhoods from the CAI de Ceballos to the Plaza de Todos under the banner "Un grito marica". It was much smaller, at about 600 people, but organisers said residents gave it a warm welcome.
The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
