Envy is a rooftop lounge in El Poblado, the main nightlife hub around Parque Lleras. It’s marketed as gay-friendly, but don’t be fooled. It’s a mainstream spot for tourists and expats, not a gay bar. The crowd is mostly straight on most nights. If you want an actual gay night out, skip Envy and head to the dedicated clubs elsewhere in the city. It opens Thursday through Sunday. Saturdays run until 04:00. Prices are steep by Medellín standards. Take a ride-hailing app home. Keep an eye on your drink in Lleras.
