HOTEL EL BOSQUE MELGAR
Visitors frequently praise the excellent service and delicious, traditional food. However, a common complaint is that the hotel's facilities, particularly the pools, appear neglected and in need of maintenance and modernization, with some rooms also described as old and in poor condition.

The cocktail staff's service is excellent, the food and drinks are excellent, but the pool leaves much to be desired. It looked dirty, and I didn't see it cleaned the next day. The toilet had problems flushing, the room window was sealed shut, preventing any airflow, and there was a bad smell in the room. The air conditioning wasn't powerful enough, making it feel stuffy and very hot. The elevator is in bad condition. They should invest in these aspects, as the service is good and the location is great. Honestly, the price-to-room ratio seems a bit expensive for how basic it is. I also expected at least a small refrigerator and good ventilation. They should open up those windows; that would be a big plus. The heat is truly stifling.
Excellent service throughout. The food was very good.
"I booked this hotel expecting a comfortable and well-maintained place, but the reality was very different. The pool, despite being large, was visibly dirty; the water looked unpleasant and seemed to have gone several days without proper maintenance or cleaning. The facilities in general looked neglected and somewhat abandoned, with an air of disrepair. The room, which wasn't exactly cheap, was far from luxurious. The bathroom was in very poor condition: the toilet seat and cistern were damaged, and worst of all, the toilet didn't flush properly; waste remained stagnant, making it very uncomfortable and unsanitary to use. Furthermore, the elevator service gave a very bad impression; it looked old and unsafe. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to expectations at all for the price and category. I wouldn't recommend it in its current state."
