Hotel Melgar Plaza

It was a long weekend and I had a fantastic time. The room was very clean and had air conditioning. The water slide and the pool are great; the slide is large and reaches high speeds. We ordered food from the hotel restaurant, and everything was delicious and inexpensive. They also have areas for playing billiards or bowling. We stayed one night, and I thought it was very affordable for everything the hotel offers. I highly recommend this hotel, as I also looked at nearby hotels, but they were more expensive and smaller.

The room needs a small refrigerator, and the pool is always very dirty.

The hotel is well-located, the rooms are newly renovated, everything is very clean and tidy, and the pest control is good since I didn't need to use repellent. There's ample outdoor parking, a good adult pool, a children's pool and a water slide, and the breakfasts and lunches are delicious and reasonably priced. They have a game room with ping pong, billiards, a traditional Colombian game called "rana," and a bowling game. The service from the waiters is excellent; I especially want to mention the young man. To improve things, they should have better control over who enters the hotel, as vendors have been coming in selling achiras (a type of corn cake), which I don't think is very appropriate. A small towel for the shower floor would be great, as water was leaking a little.

Very nice place, and it has a water slide open from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. Very friendly and helpful people. It's worth it and highly recommended.

Excellent

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Melgar. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable considering the service they offer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is reasonably priced, and the pool is large and open until 11 pm.
