Passion Barranco

Having stayed in many cheap hostels in Peru, this one is clearly below par, and you can tell it was done in a hurry. The setting and common areas are quite nice. But as soon as you enter the 10-bed dorm (on the ground floor behind a garage door that's not at all soundproofed): it smells bad, the sheets and pillows aren't clean, and a slat was missing from my bed, which didn't seem to be a problem for the manager. Only one shower and one toilet for 10 people. You can hear absolutely everything from the party going on in the hostel just behind it. The breakfast is really minimal, and I'm always waiting to be served last (once again, the staff doesn't seem particularly concerned). I really don't recommend it.

It will forever be my favorite place in Lima. I met and married my husband here 3 years ago, and now I return and it continues to be my home.

A place to spend the night... kind of like a Bed and Breakfast. I was treated well.

Excellent place, Daniel the manager is a 10/10 person and all the guys who work there are super attentive, perfect location to get to Barranco and close to the buses to Miraflores, I would definitely return if I have to be in Barranco.
