Nuna Sumaq Hotel

Weird experience. I arrived to locked front door. Someone finally opened door, reception was dark and empty. Woman shoes me room and gives me key, no check in, no information. I felt sketched out so left. Had booked on booking.com and they knew when I would be coming, just very odd.

The hotel is fine, as are the staff. It's fine for one night, but the walls let in all the noise from the other rooms; it feels like you're sharing the space. It wasn't very pleasant; I almost banged on the door to get them to speak quieter.

Great BnB, very quaint, nice rooms, very clean and well kept, staff was very nice and attentive. We left for Machu Pichu with a night away and they kept our bags for us overnight. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit eggs ham cheese. Don't forget to check out the terrace !

Beautiful!! We rented the little house behind it... Very comfortable and well-equipped, the terrace is wonderful... It's just a few blocks from the main square, plus the amenities make it worthwhile 🙌🏻

Stunning location up against the mountain with easy access to hiking, and easy walking distance to the square, Ollantaytambo archeological sites, and the train station. The roof has a lovely seating area that is great for stargazing at night. The breakfast each morning was good and the staff was super friendly. The shower in my room was great! Nice and hot, with plenty of water volume and pressure! I would stay here again for sure!

Estavamos procurando um hotel com boa Internet, porque precisavamos fazer algumas reuniões. Eles tem um wifi 5g que deu 75 de upload e 136 de download. Excelente para o que precisavamos. Quarto super limpo, organizado, banheiro limpo, água super quente, silencioso. Pessoal super atenciosos e bom café da manhã.

Wonderfull stay in the Nuna Sumaq hotel. We were a party of 5 so we booked two rooms. Both rooms were perfect. Comfy beds and hot showers. What more could you ask for! We recommend staying here instead of Aguas Calientes. The train from here to Aguas is a lovely ride. The hotel is just a short walk to the square. The owner is so nice and cooked us hot scrambled eggs for breakfast along with the best mango I’ve had. Highly recommend!!

Ficamos duas noites no Nuna Sumaq, o hotel é uma pérola escondida. Construção histórica com quarto amplo, com vista para a ruína de Pinkuyluna, banheiro novo com chuveiro maravilhoso e quente. O café da manhã também estava ótimo, com opção de ovos revueltos feitos na hora. Fiquem em Ollantaytambo ao invés de Águas Calientes, vale muito a pena, Cidade linda com edifícios históricos.

Excellent location very close to the Ollantaytambo main square, very quiet with all the amenities. The view from the room's balcony and the rooftop terrace allows you to appreciate all the beauty of this vibrant city. We had the constant support of Pamela and Gonzalo, who made our stay absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here after a day at Macchu Pichu. Our host was lovely, rooms were basic for a guest house as ud expect but were spacious and impeccably clean. I would stay here again! Breakfast in the morming with fresh juice coffee fruits ham and cheese and buns! I would stay here again
