About this place Flamingo Beach

Flamingo Beach is a small stretch of sand on Renaissance Island, a private islet off Aruba that belongs to the Renaissance resort in downtown Oranjestad. Flamingos wander the beach, and that is why most people come. Guests usually reach it by the resort's water taxi from the hotel. Non-guests generally need a day pass, which is limited and sells out, and the flamingo side has had age restrictions. Check the current rules before you plan around it. This is a mainstream, gay-friendly tourist spot, not an LGBTQ+ venue. It is a beach, not a hotel. The rooms belong to the Renaissance resort in town.
