Sushil and Ashlyn at the bar in the lobby were absolutely fantastic. They were kind, professional and really made our stay top notch. Highly recommend this hotel for sports teams.

We were in town for a concert last Friday and chose this hotel as we didn’t want to be right in downtown Halifax with traffic. The hotel is in a great location with a Tim Hortons and Wendy’s combo just down the road. About 15 minutes from downtown Halifax. We ended up taking an uber to the concert which cost about $20 each way - cheaper than a taxi. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Staff were incredible also. I called to inquire an early check in so we could get ready before the show as we had to be there for 4pm and they were able to accommodate that with no issue. We requested a high floor away from the elevator which was also accommodated. Would stay here again for the next show! 🫶🏻

Very friendly, food is good, service is good, nothing to complaint about. I recommend this place to people, workers are amazing :)

Lynn on the front desk has excellent customer service she goes above and beyond to make your stay great as always I always recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Dartmouth.

My stay at the Staybridge Suites / Holiday Inn Dartmouth has been outstanding. The property is consistently clean, the rooms are well-maintained, and there is a strong sense of security that makes relaxing here easy. A hotel is ultimately just a building, but the staff and service here are what truly make the difference. From the moment I arrived, it hasn't felt like a boring hotel stay; it has been a welcoming, open environment that makes me feel right at home. The team here is incredibly accommodating, but a few individuals deserve a massive shout-out for making my stay exceptional: Jess: As and exceptional bar manager, her service is nothing short of impressive. She is always on point and anticipates all my needs with a professional and attentive touch. Whether it’s food, drinks, or just a chat, she has a contagious smile and an easy-going nature that makes you want to engage. Her honest eye contact makes every conversation feel genuine and sincere. She's approachable and relatable and has this effortless way of making you feel more like a friend than just another guest. It’s that level of personability that turns a standard interaction into the highlight of the day. Michelle: As a manager, Michelle is in a league of her own. She is incredibly cool and consistently goes the extra mile to make the stay more immersive and an overall wonderful experience. She creates a completely stress-free and comfortable environment with "good vibes" that feel like home. She makes this a place that is fun and exciting to return to after work, and you can tell she truly cares about the guest experience. Ashlyn: She provides truly exceptional service with a warm, welcoming vibe and stays "on point" 24/7. Whether it’s being attentive to the small details or handling requests without hesitation, she goes above and beyond. The best part about the service is that Ashlyn makes me feel less like a customer and more like a guest in her own home. It’s rare to find that level of genuine care. Joan: She provides the perfect balance. Whether I want a professional environment to wind down or want to let loose and have some drinks by the fire out back, she makes me feel like I don't have to hold back. She’s quick with a laugh and is so on point with service that she often knows what I want before I even have to ask. Sushil: A top-tier bar lead and server. He’s an A-class mixologist who can "hold down the fort" and run the whole show. He knows exactly what I want the second I hang my hat after work, handling a fast-paced, high-stress environment while building a sincere friendship with the guests. Shubham: He absolutely kills it in the kitchen. Keeping a crew of hardworking tradesmen fed and watered is no small feat, but he handles it with ease. His Monday–Wednesday social hours are the perfect way to recover after a hard day’s work, providing food that keeps your taste buds wanting more in a great social atmosphere. Jaskaran & Upneet: Masters of the front desk. They are on top of every request—from handling package deliveries to lining up to-go breakfast bags for those early mornings when we have to head out before standard hours. Their proactive communication makes my entire party feel safe and confident that our stay is in the best hands. For anyone in this area, this is the spot, hands down. If you want a relaxing stay or a welcoming environment that keeps life exciting, I cannot recommend this place enough. To the whole team: thank you for making this feel like a home rather than just a place to sleep!

This is my go to place whenever I visit Halifax/Dartmouth where I feel genuinly welcomed and taken care of. The staff is super friendly and professional and they don't hesitate a second to help or cheer you up. The breakfast is included and one of the best that I have seen comparing to other places. The rooms are super clean and the beds are very comfy. Tvs are big and my kids love the warm pool. The Staybridge Dartmouth maks me really feel like home. So cozy, super clean and very peaceful. Love this place and I highly recommend. Big shout out to Jas !.at the front desk one of the best ! Cheers

Amazing hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Bar and lounge area is great for unwinding. Ashlyn and Jess were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Definitely returning to this hotel.

What really made the experience stand out was the incredible staff. Ashlyn and Jess were both absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and full of great energy. They made me feel comfortable, at home, and truly appreciated as a guest. It’s not often you come across service this genuine. They helped create such a fun and memorable experience, and because of them I’ll definitely be coming back. This was hands down the best bar experience I’ve ever had—and that’s entirely thanks to Ashlyn and Sushil. From the moment I sat down, they created an atmosphere that was welcoming, energetic, and genuinely fun. You can tell immediately that they’re not just great at what they do—they truly love it. What really made the night stand out, though, was the way they connected with everyone at the bar. They made each guest feel seen and taken care of, all while keeping the vibe lively and effortless. It’s rare to find service that feels this genuine. I’ve been to a lot of bars, but nothing comes close to this experience. Ashlyn and Sushil don’t just make drinks—they create the kind of night you wish you could relive.

Sushil was my server at the lounge for the entire week stay and was awesome. Great food and awesome service
