I love the large king sized rooms. The included breakfast is great too. But it could be busy at times.
We absolutely loved staying in this hotel. Except two downsides, everything was perfect. First, CONS: Buffet - They don’t have a variety in the buffet. Every single day, you get to eat boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, hot cereal, waffles, pork sausages/bacon. We stayed 4 days and there were omelettes only once, beans and diced potatoes alternated each other randomly. It really disappointed us not to have any beef or chicken options. After all, not everyone eats pork. Also, there were no vegetables at all. I hope this beautiful hotel considers these nuances for future guests. Toiletries - There’s no shower gel or hand wash in the room. Just a small soap bar for hand wash. They had body lotion which doesn’t replace the ones above. PROS: -The staff are super friendly and nice. -The hotel location is great. We came from Toronto and it was our first time in Halifax and in Atlantic Canada in general. And we found the hotel location very convenient to explore Dartmouth, Halifax and more. -We were on the 7th floor facing the highway. It was very quiet and we felt safe. The room’s so clean and had a nice view. The room service was timely and good, too. -We used the swimming pool twice and it was real fun! -24hr coffee is the cherry on top! -What we loved about the buffet most was that they have three waffle makers, which makes waiting time so short. And you get to prepare perfect fluffy waffles in just 2 minutes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again once we are in Halifax.
Large, clean room. Quiet. Comfortable. Good buffet breakfast. Close to Costco and all Dartmouth Crossing Shops. Restaurants are nearby. Nice pool. Friends staff. Clean premises. Easy to find and lots of free parking
Riya, trainee at the front desk was cordial, helpful and enthusiastic about her duties... she was amazing overall. Although the facility was nice, it seemed a little over priced.
The breakfast service uses cheap plastic cutlery and paper plates Great for picnics but very poor for a breakfast at a hilton hotel
You will not get a better place to stay highly recommended you will have super staff in a very very clean building in the continental breakfast is 2nd to none
