What reviewers say

Many guests found the location convenient and appreciated the comfortable beds, working heat and AC, and decent breakfast. However, a significant number of visitors complained about strong cigarette and cannabis smells, even in non-smoking rooms, and some experienced issues with noise and cleanliness.

After travelling four hours to Halifax looking forward to a relaxing stay, we arrived at this hotel only to leave within the hour because the conditions were absolutely unacceptable. The moment you walk into the building there is a heavy smell of cigarettes, despite being told smoking is not allowed. Our first room was filthy, with food left underneath the pull-out couch along with a used dab pen cartridge, which was disgusting and completely unacceptable in what is supposed to be a clean hotel room. We asked to switch rooms hoping the situation would improve, but the second room was somehow even worse, with heavily damaged and chewed-up furniture that made us question whether the rooms are ever properly cleaned or maintained at all. To make the experience even more frustrating, Mohammad at the front desk was extremely rude and unpleasant to deal with and refused to properly assist us when we explained why we could not stay there. Because of the condition of the hotel and the terrible customer service, we had no choice but to leave and find another hotel at the last minute. This was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience, and I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here. Terrible!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely disgusting experience. The room smelled heavily of cigarettes the moment we walked in, despite supposedly being a non-smoking room. So we swapped rooms and it got WORSE. It was obvious that cleanliness was not a priority here. When we looked under the couch, we found old cereal pieces, garbage, and even used weed pen cartridges left behind from previous guests. The furniture was in terrible condition as well, with chewed-up and damaged desks and fixtures that looked like pets had been left in the room for extended periods of time. The attached photo shows debris and food left underneath the furniture, which makes you wonder how often these rooms are actually cleaned. The overall condition of the room was dirty, worn out, and poorly maintained. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a clean, comfortable place to stay.

Great location beside the bridge between Halifax and Dartmouth.

Ya'll this place tries but has so many issues. They know there is a problem with the keycards. No one can open their doors reliably. In this part of town, that's a big negative. Room itself was nice and clean. I wouldn't recommend to others but would maybe stay again if I got a good deal... breakfast and coffee was nice. Good parking.

I've been in worse. Not handicap accessible in anyway. Doors don't hold open, front entrance has apposed sliding doors for no reason.
