Arbour on Whyte

Arbour, I was so disappointed with the dish, the brick chicken. It was completely tasteless and flavorless. I literally forced myself to eat a few bites, and even after I asked for some salt and pepper, it didn't do much. The Dijon sauce was also tasteless. I am severely disappointed with the chicken; it had no flavor. It was simply fried and crispy, but without any flavor or taste, it felt as if I was eating boiled chicken without salt or any seasoning—completely bland. The presentation was really good, but that doesn't matter when the dish isn't even edible. There should be at least a mild flavor, but there was absolutely no flavor in the dish—it was completely bland and rubbish. I don't think I'll be able to eat chicken for a long time now.

Must try. Everything from the cocktails to the pizza is tip top quality with a unique and deep flavor. Our server, Beth, was also super sweet!!

I went to Edmonton for a short work trip and visited this restaurant completely unplanned. I understand why it's so highly rated, service and food were amazing! My waitress helped my choose and I ordered beef tartare, charred cabbage and the poached pizza. They were all delicious! As a foodie I've had very nice beef tartare and pizza elsewhere before so what really blew my mind was the charred cabbage - must try!!

First visit to Arbour today. Cozy, inviting space with friendly, welcoming service. My pick from the brunch menu was the Fried Chicken sandwich with za'atar smashed potatoes. The sandwich was very flavouful: house-made fried chicken thighs, pickles, harissa aioli and slaw - delicious! The za'atar smashed potatoes were a unique and perfect accompaniment. Definitely want to return to try the dinner offerings.

Got the Vietnamese crepe. Good flavour. Nice ambience. Food is a bit slow to come on. Service is great too.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. First of all, many of the ingredients on the menu we had to Google to understand what they were. But we carried on with optimism only to be let down with complexe flavors, very obscure presentation and overall the food was not worth the $$. Would recommend them to simplify flavors and dishes and stick to real cooking.

Wife and I decided to try out the food here for something different. Had the brussel sprouts and meatball for entrees. Very good! Steak was cooked properly. Service was prompt. A bit pricey... but worth a nice night out for some excellent food.
