What reviewers say

Visitors praise HI Edmonton for its friendly and helpful staff, good location near amenities and public transport, and modern, clean facilities, especially after recent renovations. However, some guests found the rooms basic and sterile, and cleanliness, particularly in bathrooms and during longer stays, was a recurring concern for a few.

I felt very unwelcome when I came in. I was told that usually they cannot book people in if they have Edmonton addresses on photo ID (If I actually lived here, don’t you think I’d want to be at home???). I was pushed to leave and make a reservation at a hotel instead (I already booked the room here.) I am not sure why they are trying to convince me to go somewhere else, but it does not send a very friendly message across.

It's ok if you want a place to sleep, shared bathrooms need more stalls and better cleaning. Be careful of booking bunk bed roommates, if one snores u won't sleep the night 😁 parking is also limited and street parking mainly.
