Varscona Hotel on Whyte

Great location! Nice hotel, great staff! Just a little on the pricey side.

Definitely ot for disabled people. Beds are horrible cuz so high I needed a step ladder to get in bed. Also very noisey on the street n the bar which people coming out then fight n arguments screaming n hard to sleep but the staff are wonderful polite n very helpful

No air conditioning in the room. Called down to the front desk, the gentleman said it was not due to be turned on until the next day. I asked if he could send a fan up, he said they do not have any left. I was not very happy. I was on my way to go buy a fan when the room phone rang. The gentleman turned things around and called their sister property down the road and had them deliver a fan to us. Awesome service.

Had a great stay room was renovated and clean, bed was comfortable, not to soft not to hard. Breakfast was decent, I did how ever get a parking ticket in the parking garage. Before you cuss me out, yes I gave my licence plate and did everything correct. It was just a system glitch and I didn’t have to pay. So props to them for getting tat taken care of.

Hotel location is great relative to major roads, hospitals, downtown etc. Parking at the hotel was a little confusing, I feel like signage could maybe make that clearer. Rooms were a little dated, but tidy, clean, and spacious. I would say the weakest element was the breakfast. Not good, not bad, but just there. On the hole, the pros outweigh the cons and we’d definitely come back.

Me and my wife had an absolutely pleasant time here, mostly thanks to Kataryna! The service and care she provided was absolutely exceptional! The breakfast was extremely lovely and there was such a nice atmosphere of music and smells in this hotel. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you all so much ☺️

Great location, very friendly staff! However the bedframe kept falling apart the whole stay we had to keep pushing it back together, and the TV signal was very on/off

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and in a great location. We loved our stay at the Varscona and can’t wait to stay with them again!!

We love going to the Varscona. We usually go twice a year for a night away from kids. Staff are friendly, rooms arr nice and clean and the breakfast is great. The only issue we ever have is that the beds aren't the best. They are weirdly firm but also the springs compress too much. Otherwise a great place to stay!
