What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the welcoming staff and the fun atmosphere, with many highlighting DJ Mike's talent and the quality of the drag performances. A fun typical gay bar. Friendly staff, great prices for drinks. It was super quiet when we were there but is probably jumping later in the evening

This was the best time that I had, the queens were on point their energy was contagious. The DJ Mike G was great kept the night going after the wonderful drag show. Jerry the manager was welcoming and cordial and convinced me to go in and I don’t regret it and had the time of my life-

So was a little upset with my experience My friends and I last night went to k-pop night, when we arrived at 10:30, an hour and a half after the event started, k-pop was not being played, we were very confused, as were some others who we entered with. When we asked the bartender, he said the event was still happening but we would have to make requests with the dj. We found a few others who had been there longer and they mentioned that k-pop wasn’t being played at all and they were waiting for it to be played When one of us went to go up to the dj, he was making out with his girlfriend quite heavily, we then asked about k-pop night and the music and the dj didn’t seem to know what k-pop was and that it would be played on a 1-3 ratio by request. If a theme for an event is advertised, it is expected by patrons that that theme is followed, I wouldn’t advertise a Rock and Roll event to then play Taylor Swift. Needless to say, my friends and I will more than likely not be back

My first time going to Rumours was after a large professional event at the World Trade and Convention centre. I had spent all winter in the community of Key West where there are a lot of similar bars but did not know what to expect from such a venue in Halifax. The atmosphere is 10/10 with various spaces for all walks of life. The performances were top notch but it was the staff who made our night. We were greeted by a person named Lamar who took our coats and cover and answered any/all questions we had (apparently they are also a performer who we hope to catch on the stage soon!!!). At one point I lost my friends and thought maybe they left and Lamar always had all the answers. When I went to check if my friends were smoking the head bartender not only took my drink to watch but covered it for me. 10/10 compassionate service you don't see often these days. Cant wait to go back!!!!
