Christies Mill Waterfront Resort and Spa

The place has a nice touch. That is a little dated. Hopefully under new management, they will clean it up. But need to paint job gardening. Etc, either or the long weekend, the pool was closed due to maintenance, which really sucked, considering we have 2 kids. And that's one of the reasons why we went there. The restaurant is green. The people staff work very hard to get everything done. Food is excellent amazing views. They just need to work on their child or kid. Entertainment, like I said, the pool was closed on a long weekend.

Was here for a mother/daughter weekend. Front desk wasnt up to date on what was happening. No idea the restaurant wasnt going to be opened for our 2nd night stay. We have to go off property to eat tonight and tomorrow morning. First impression not great.

My mom and I visited for a Mother's Day weekend getaway, and we had a wonderful time. Amazing views, the service was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the RMT's and Nail Tech's were fantastic! The meals that we had at the restaurant were delicious as well. All around it was a wonderful weekend away, we would highly recommend Christie's Mill Inn and Spa.

We had a corporate event for 15 people at Christie's Mill Inn & Spa, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel rooms were lovely, very clean, with comfortable beds, fireplaces and jetted tubs. What truly stood out, though, was the level of care and attention from the staff. Everyone went out of their way to ensure our group was well taken care of throughout our stay. The chef was interactive and engaging with our group, and the food was absolutely fabulous. On Thursday evening, there was a guitarist/singer performing in the restaurant, which added such a enjoyable atmosphere with the beautiful lake view. The staff consistently went above and beyond for us. They lit the fire to heat the sauna, prepared the beach campfire for our group, and even made sure the ice machine stayed fully stocked for our evening get-together. Their hospitality and attention to detail deserve so much praise. Such an incredible team. The setting itself was beautiful, with stunning waterfront views, a beachfront lined with granite rock, and clean sandy areas. Everything about the property felt relaxing and welcoming. I highly recommend Christie's Mill Inn & Spa for a personal getaway or especially for a corporate event. They will take care of you!

Didn't stay. Had dinner which was very nice. Dining room has wrap around widows. Scenic views of the area around the locks. Beautiful large patio though it was too early in the season for us to use it.

Amazing stay. Hotel was clean..Staff was 10/10. Food was way too good! The spa ladies... can't say enough. Those 2 girls were absolutely amazing.

We spent a weekend here as a quick romantic getaway. While the staff service was excellent, I cannot really say that I was impressed with the overall experience. Our room had a pronounced electrical hum in it from the electrical room below it. While they did move us to a better room, that sound is everywhere in the building, and will likely bother people sensitive to those noises. The room was spacious with a nice view of the lake, fireplace and mini fridge included. The bathroom was large with a single person jetted tub, but it was the condition of the countertop, toilet seat and shower that was disappointing in a property calling itself an upscale resort. The $25/night resort fee needs to be reconsidered in the off season. In summer, I imagine there would be canoes/kayaks/SUP's to use, but in the winter there is only a basic indoor pool, a "tranquil soaking tub" which looks a lot like a jetted hot tub that was never fixed when the jets broke, and a sauna that is sandwiched between two rooms and not close to anything else. on top of that, it's not left on, so it takes 10-15minutes to warm up every time. Again, every staff member we interacted with was wonderful, but I will not be back due to the other factors described.

Four of us had reservations for 8 here Saturday night Apr 11th. Our waiter was very good and attentive. Three of us ordered fish and chips. The fish was very good but fries not so good. For $25.00 fish and chips I was not expecting Cavendish bagged fries. I know its a small detail but I expect bagged fries from fast food establishments not a higher end restaurant. Anyway the fish was good. Steve
