Many thanks to Ciernan for a very late check-in that he graciously accommodated. I had tried to call other hotels closer to where I needed to be the next morning and none picked up but thank goodness Ciernan did and was able to accommodate me. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with him and the resort is lovely, the room is sufficient and clean. Plenty of parking. Will definitely be back again.

The resort has gone downhill. Screaming for a coat of paint. The door to our room would not lock. Animal poop on the deck outside our Lakeview room. Disorganised at the front desk. Where is the luggage cart? Food and dining room service is fantastic.

We had a lovely weekend at Christie’s Mill. We really enjoyed the sauna, our beautiful lakeview suite, and the peaceful waterfront setting. The service at the restaurant was exceptional, and overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!

This place needs lots of love and attention. Its average. The rooms larger. The hotel is outdated. I wasn’t impressed that hallway access was available to anyone from the outside. Spa was a great experience. Staff was friendly

At a private party there last night for 30 people. Used half the restaurant (roughly). Beautiful view. Lovely serving staff. Food totally sub par. One appetizer was canapés made so long ago that the cracker completely crumbled upon pick up due to sogginess and the spread on the cracker was so dried out it was cracking. There is no excuse for this. I told the host not to pay for these. Soup came out tepid at best. Most of the steaks came out blue/ultra rare when asked for medium or well. Steaks were being sent back all over. Chicken, on the other hand, was tough and dry. (Hard to overcook chicken but there you go) Allergies were given to staff in advance and were on name tags for every diner. Guest of honour was still given a salad with dressing she couldn’t eat. Finally the ‘fresh fruit cobbler’ was a berry compote with granola on top. ??? Another guest commented this is new summer staff learning the ropes. That shouldn’t be at the expense of our gracious host who was clearly disappointed but made the best of what was a lovely evening, despite the really poorly prepared food. (To be fair i had the fish and made out better than anyone!)
