Glen Oro Farm

We spent a night in one of the stargazer dôme and we really loved it! There is all the comfort that you need, it was really clean, the service from the staff was excellent. They drove us to the dôme with our luggage and picked us up on our checkout so you dont even have to carry anything. We booked the saune and cold plinge in the middle of the forest, they started it for us. They are very reactive and available if you have any questions. I definitely recommend. It is a great experience and a very relaxing time. 10/10. We'll definitely go back.

Glen Oro Eco-retreat was the most perfect getaway! Finding out that we were there to celebrate my boyfriends birthday we were upgraded from the Stargazer to the Galaxygazer. We could not be more grateful! Marcos gave us a tour of our dome and an amazing restaurant recommendation (casa colibri)! The Trail Ride was the highlight of the trip! Emily and Patricia were fantastic teachers and made us feel comfortable as we were completely new to horseback riding. Our horses Wrangler and Buzz were the sweetest things and we went back everyday to visit them and give them treats! The dome itself was mind blowing! Not only was it a beauty to be inside but it was fully stocked with any equipment/ utensils we could possibly need for our stay. Thank you Glen Oro you gave us a trip to remember. We will certainly be coming back regularly!

I couldn't recommend Glen Oro Farm/eco-retreat whatever you want to call it more. Mi amigo Marcos took care of us from the start and gave us restaurant recommendations. We ended up getting a birthday surprise as we had our dome upgraded to the galaxygazer. Quayles brewery is a 20 minute drive and features live music, craft beer and some of the best burgers you can find in the province. The girls at the trail riding experience, Patricia and Emily took really good care of us and made sure we were comfortable during our first ever experience horse back riding. Our horses Wrangler and Buzz also did a great job and got us back safely. Throughout the stay the staff checked in via Text regularly and helped pre heat the sauna for our contrast therapy sessions. To say it was seamless and stress free is an understatement. These memories will not fade any time soon. We will 100% be back. Thank you to the staff (and horses) for making this an unforgettable trip.

The stay itself was beautiful. The views were gorgeous, the dome was spacious, and the horseback riding experience was amazing. The horseback riding staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the experience so enjoyable. My only criticism would be the customer service from some of the dome staff. In particular, Amber came across as a bit rude and passive-aggressive during our stay. There wasn’t much guidance provided about how to book amenities or when to contact staff, and when we had questions, the interactions felt uncomfortable rather than helpful. It wasn’t just something I noticed—my guest noticed it as well. Considering we paid approximately $1,500 for two nights, we simply expected a warmer and more welcoming level of service. Overall, we still had a great time and the property itself is beautiful, but friendlier communication would have made the experience much better.

We chose this place to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we could have made! From the very beginning, the customer service was exceptional. The staff stayed in touch and made sure everything was arranged around our arrival time, which made us feel welcomed and cared for. We stayed in the Explorer Tent, and I can confidently say that the photos and videos do not do this place justice. The atmosphere, the scenery, and the overall experience are far better in person. Everything was incredibly well maintained, spotless, and organized. The attention to detail was impressive. The staff regularly checked if we needed a ride around the property or if we wanted to reserve the sauna, making sure everything was ready for us without any hassle. This was a truly memorable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique getaway. We will definitely be coming back, and I have already recommended it to several friends who are planning to visit soon! Thank you for making my wife’s birthday so special!

My husband & I celebrated our anniversary here. It was the perfect place! Camping with all the comfort. The tent is so well equipped and all details have been wonderfully thought out. We’re definitely coming back!

We had an incredible stay at Glen Oro farm. We stayed in the explorer tent. The staff were very attentive if we needed them, but we had a very private, relaxed and picturesque stay here. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Truly one of the best experiences ontario has to offer! You woot know it until you get here. Excellent staff and comfort level is incredible. I also suggest going on the hike & using the sauna :)

It's a very beautiful and large farm that houses many horses belonging to the farm as well as those belonging to people who pay to have them cared for. There's also a campground with 14 cabins. They're very nice and have excellent service. In the summer, they host events such as equestrian competitions, weddings, and more. I highly recommend it.
