Royal Boutique Hotel (By Empress Palace)

Rather sleep in the car than here. These palace pictures are all Ai created images! Do not get fooled. 1-All the bedsheets had hair, dirt… the bathroom had bug. Thank god we had pillows and blanket in the car. We used our clean laundry to dry our face as the towels were gross. 2-kick that lady out from the customer service. She is very rude!!. She has no patience. Wrf is wrong with her?? I was trying so hard to be calm and not get into argument. 3-the price went higher than what we had booked for. 4-she asked us to cancel our appointment from Expedia and pay her separately from different payment app. suspicious. 5-the room was all dusty and the table had small hairs. GROSS. Please avoid this place unless you have no other option. Do not get scammed like we did. I was so excited to stay in Canada for the first time and these people ruined it especially that lady in the customer service.

This place honestly felt like something out of a horror movie. The whole building was dark, quiet, and very unsettling, especially at night. It didn’t feel like a normal hotel at all. When I arrived, there was barely anyone around—no staff or guests in sight—which made it even more uncomfortable. The owner came out of a dark room, and the whole interaction felt strange. I originally wanted to book one night, but I was told I had to pay for two nights in cash or I couldn’t stay. I ended up paying over $800 but barely stayed one night because I felt so uncomfortable. The condition of the place was terrible. There was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout the building, like it wasn’t cleaned properly. The pillows, bed, and blankets smelled bad, and I even saw cockroaches in the room. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the payment situation were all very concerning. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.

This place is absolutely unacceptable. Do not be fooled by the pictures online—the reality is completely different. The entire place is filthy, with a strong, unpleasant smell everywhere. The room was extremely dusty, and there was hair on the bed, floors, and even on the washroom towels. Even the bed and pillows smelled disgusting and unclean. There were no basic supplies—you can’t even find a single tissue. On top of that, the owner was very rude and unhelpful. Once she takes your money, you won’t see her again. They also charge you immediately—we were charged $800 for these terrible conditions, which is outrageous. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I strongly warn others not to rely on the photos. Please go see the place in person before booking, or you may regret it.”

Safe and nice Very very good yo book

Came here last minute and on Valentines Day, we were going down a list and she answered and she told us 2 rooms are available but to come before it was booked. We were only 10 minutes away, we were confused as it is a big house, but it was very big and beautiful. She stepped out of the home to make sure we arrived and helped us park. We got a private room with 2 beds and nice bathroom and she allowed us to check it out before agreeing to book. She was very kind and beautiful. I enjoyed my stay and had an amazing time and it was quiet and peaceful so glad we found a place that night. 💛💛💛💛💛

This is not a real hotel, they say they have nice rooms and its a house that looks ghosted like. DO NOT BE FOOLED by this place

I just called someone in this hotel to confirm the price what i saw in the booking.com But there have a lady, she is very rude from the very beginning to last. I’m not sure why she did it, since I was talking nicely to her. Even i was trying to polite, but she keep using her mouth nonsense ly. She is differentiating the customers based on their choosing preferences on room cost. Telling me like "Doesn’t matter what’s showing the price you have to pay this” When I asked i didn’t understand about the shared bathroom, she is telling me, “how many times you wanna go washroom, you have your own room, if you wanna better facilities, take the 2++$ room” i’m mean who talk that way??? Made my day worse. She doesn’t know or understand the customer service. My profession is also provide a customer service and I couldn’t ever to think to behave that way.
