Hello! This hotel went through a huge improvement! The rooms are large and spacious and the bathroom has a nice layout. The back of the bathroom door needs to be painted but the rest looks good. As for the breakfast it was fresh and delicious they have a waffle maker, fresh scrambled eggs, pastries, and fruit 🍓. They also have a breakfast room now instead of breakfast in the Chinese restaurant. I don't love the layout because it's structured like a motel. This is a minor detail though and doesn't really make much of a difference. The other thing I didn't love was the area surrounding the hotel which is kinda beat up and ugly it's not skid row material and I haven't seen any drug addicts but it's not the prettiest area. As for food in the area there are quite a few bubble tea cafes around and there's a Chinese restaurant on the premises. The metro town is nearby I would suggest going there.

Motel 6 at best! Will never stay here again! Our group of 30 families did NOT have hot water the whole 3 days we stayed. They kept saying "maintenace is working on the boiler" but we all knew it was a supply issue. Hot water heaters not big enough for a fully booked hotel. They need to book 1/3 less rooms so everyone has hot water. They barely gave a 30% discount on a night or two. We even moved rooms due to the cold showers and still had cold water. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! My sons favorite hat went missing while we were gone and house keeping came in. They took zero responsibility. Floors were filthy. Spiders all over the concrete at the pool. Main doors to room didn't close all the way-did not feel secure. Breakfast was decent but not enough waffles makers and long lines. You had to get some weird paper voucher at check in for breakfast and they demand it upon entering the area. If you forgot it, had to go back to the room or had to ask the front desk and they were rude about it. I called ahead to make sure we had extra amenities in our room upon check in and they were not there. We had to call and ask again! Shampoo was empty in the shower. This place has been run down for years and years. It may have been fine when I was in college, but not with families and children. The price is outlandish for the quality of "motel" you get. I have a feeling they jack the price up knowing they will have to give some sort of discount to almost everyone due to the rundown aspects of the property. Save your $ and headache and book elsewhere!

This is a very nice hotel, however the only problem with this Best Western Hotel in Burnaby, BC Canada is that it runs out of hot water in the morning. I was trying to take a shower in the process of checking out of the hotel early on a Sunday morning and the hot water was no longer available. It's a dreadful feeling trying to take a shower and the water is cold. Why pay for a hotel room if you're unable to get hot water. Hopefully this problem can be corrected even if this means that they need to replace the existing hot water heater with a newer one.

We had no hot water the entire time we were there. There was no water pressure in the shower, circuit breakers kept going off, lots of bugs in the room and all they did was give me a $167 canadian dollars credit, not even the cost of one night's stay!! I will never stay at this hotel again!!
