What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the excellent location, convenient to downtown and the lake, and highlight the host Phil's attentive hospitality and delicious breakfasts. However, some guests found the B&B's rules, like removing shoes, restrictive, and noted issues with noise from other rooms and the front door, as well as small showers.

I love love Niagara by the lake area. Beautiful! B&B As soon as we got in our car my husband said I don’t want to do anymore inns. We also like to wear our shoes but were instructed to remove when entering the B&B. No common area, stay in your room where you will hear every flush and front door open and closing . Small shower and doors off track. You will get a wake up knock for your box breakfast . B&box lunch.

We loved our stay here. We booked it at the last minute and had amazing service and attention to detail. Phil had Gluten-free items on hand for our dietary restrictions and provided a delicious breakfast to the room. The location is very handy to access the main street, and the grounds are beautiful. The only drawback was that the weather was very hot, and being on the second floor, the room got very hot at night. While there was a portable air-conditioner, it was too noisy to have on while sleeping. Would recommend a main floor room in the summer time. Thanks Phil!

Fabulous place that thought of everything. Our host was so courteous and everything was thought of. Anything you need is there. The room we stayed in was lovely, clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. In the morning we were served a lovely home cooked breakfast that was presented in such a lovely package. My only complaint was that I think an 8:30 breakfast is too late, it was for us at least. But I really feel bad complaining because it was such a lovely breakfast.

I highly recommend The Historic Old Ivy Walk B and B. My husband and I spent 3 days there the weekend before Canada Day and enjoy it so much. The location is perfect, few blocks from historic downtown Niagara-On-The-Lake and a few blocks from Lake Onterio. Phillip is the consummate host. He informed us our room was ready early and told us we could arrive anytime. The day was hot, but our room was perfectly cool. Breakfast was delivered in a perfect container to take on an early picnic in the yard or at the park. Of course we had the option to eat in our room also. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

Can't say enough about this b&b. Great location, comfy rooms, nice blast, and our host, Phil, was wonderful.
