Econo Lodge Downtown

Value priced hotel. No frills but a cheap stay. Not really free breakfast but more of a bag with a few items inside. You get what you pay for

It looks pretty good, haven't stayed there

The place is very gloomy and smells bad in some areas. Breakfast was abruptly served in a tiny paper bag containing only juice, yogurt, and a very small muffin. We then had to buy breakfast elsewhere, which wasn't part of our plan as we were hoping for a more substantial meal. The TV remote simply didn't work, and there was no exchange or assistance whatsoever to resolve the issue. In short, this Econo Lodge in Ottawa offers a unique and unforgettable experience, but in the worst possible way!

Overall hotel stay was okay but hallway smell bad literally. Staff was excellent and helping. They assisted us immediately which is plus point as we checked in in night time . But they need to focus on cleanings and smell that we noticed all around in hall way and in washrooms as well . But much better than Montreal’ s hotels experience
