The Keon Hotel
Visitors praise The Keon Hotel for its unbeatable location in the Byward Market, offering easy access to attractions and numerous dining and entertainment options. Some guests also enjoyed the spacious rooms with convenient amenities like in-room ice machines. However, a significant complaint is the disruptive noise from nearby nightclubs, which has impacted guests' sleep.

Currently staying at The Keon for my first visit to Ottawa. I booked here because the location is perfect for getting to the National Gallery and all the core points of interest. Super walkable. The Byward Market surrounding area is filled with pubs and restaurants, you'll never lack for places to try. The Ottawa sign is one street away. As for the hotel - super spacious rooms, really stylish, very very clean, and the room amenities are thoughtful. We loved the fridge for storing leftovers, and the coffee bar/Nespresso/ice machine was such a great touch. Threre were to-go cups and lids for coffee and bar glasses for your LCBO purchases ;) The bathroom had lots of towels for us and the shower products were all Aveda and quite lux. Its a self check-in situation so its sort of feels like an Airbnb apartment, which we love. Door codes rather than keys. All-in-all, loved the Keon, recommend, would stay again. 🙌
hard to find parking if anyone add parking pics like where it is or anything would easy for new tourists who come
Super cute & a great location!
Unbeatable location for going out in Ottawa. Bigger than expected room with some nice features (ice machine, couch, tv, coffee maker, mid-size fridge) and right in the market around lots of restaurants/bars.
Can't comment on service because there is virtually no staff (not a problem!! They make everything super easy to follow through your phone) but wow what an amazing space! We stayed here for a night out and the room might have been our favourite part! Bathroom was nice, ice machine inside the room was super convenient, and we honestly weren't bothered by the music at all. Between the earplugs they supply or the option of white noise on the tv, it's pretty easy to not be bothered.
We slept in room 1 on a Saturday night, above a nightclub that played loud music until 3 a.m. In other words, we didn't sleep at all. It's appalling that guests aren't warned about this noise.
