Four Points by Sheraton Regina

Decent hotel. Friendly staff.

Book elsewhere!!! Very dingy and unappealing hotel. Needs a massive renovation. The hallways look like something out of a horror movie. Pool was dirty with dead ants all over. We stayed for two nights for a week long hospital stay and checked out and went elsewhere. Very noisy, doors banging all night and can hear voices on the hallways. Staff were very friendly.

Terrible hotel, extremely run down and dirty. Arrived in Regina for a business trip. The first room I was given was absolutely disgusting. Tiles had fallen off in the shower and were haphazardly affixed with globs of grout, and all the tiles in the bottom 1/4 of the shower were mouldy. Window sills were filthy, beds were ancient and have sagged in the middle. The whole room was filthy, smelly and gross. I complained at the front desk and was eventually given another room on the third floor. Stepped into the elevator which was also disgustingly dirty, dirt and grime built up in all the corners. The room I was given was only marginally cleaner and the beds were just as bad, but at least there wasn’t mould in the shower. This whole place needs a complete renovation and they need to hire people that know how to clean properly. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere, this hotel is not up to Four Points standards.

Affordable, clean and convenient. Hotel staff were all quite good, but the real standout was Patti at the grill and bar... my goodness, that woman is a SAINT! I was in town with colleagues attending a conference, and we were all struck by her kindness, care, and constant attentiveness to our needs and to the host of folks at the grill that night (it was quite busy). Train noise at 12am is the only reason I can give 4 instead of 5.

Rooms are dated and the bed is uncomfortable. The shower had a constant drip that they did not seem to know how to fix or didn't care enough to bother.

Overpriced, rooms are in rough shape, when you walk across the room the entire floor shakes and rattles the doors. No continental breakfast, parking lots is in extreme rough shape, you will tear your bumper off if you drive a car going into the main entrance. Wouldent recommend this place to stay unless you have too. Also right beside the train tracks so get ready for a good Awakening in the middle of the night! Sounds like it’s coming through your room.

Service was fine. The biggest problem is the hotel is like 20meters away from the railway, I stayed there for four nights, every midnight from 00:30 to 1:00am, there are trains passing by with very loud whistles. Can’t sleep at all

I haven’t had such terrible customer service in decades. I phoned to cancel my room a few hours short of the 48 hr cancellation policy. My family was stranded in Europe due to an airline strike therefore I did not require the room as they were not arriving. Instead of cancelling for me, the manager required proof of the cancelled flights which was impossible as airlines that are on strike are not sending emails to their stranded customers. It took several emails and phone calls and about 5 hours before they finally granted me a free cancellation. I will not stay there.

The hotel is quite old and run down, with outdated rooms and worn furnishings. However, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. It’s clear the service is a strong point, but the property itself really needs updating.
