The staff were very friendly, the hotel was spotless, and the added treats for the pups was a sweet touch.
Very nice place. Convenient restaurants on the property. Moxies had great food. Tranum was very nice and helpful. Guest laundry was nice to have and it was free.
The leasing office at 1802 Victoria Ave E is doing a terrible job. I had a confirmed appointment to view an apartment, but the manager, Larke Kimpton, failed to show up, completely wasting my time. To make matters worse, his subsequent response to me was highly unprofessional and dismissive. It’s shocking that someone with such poor client relations skills is put in charge of handling prospective tenants. Avoid this place if you expect basic professionalism.
Great service from the front desk
Happy with our stay. Large room, comfortable beds, nice pillows which is hard to find. Room was clean, common areas were clean too. Happy that there was access inside the building to Denny's restaurant. Easy scoot to downtown and hospital.
First off we noticed the front entry. First set of doors are automatic, the second, not so much. I've never seen that in a hotel before. I saw lots of people struggling to bring in their luggage. When I booked the additional night, the agent didn't give me any deal that I later found online. My bad for not researching. Mediocre room, we were in 2 different one's throughout the weekend. Nothing really to note other than the super comfortable beds. When we checked out the first night, as we had a suite booked for the second, the front desk didn't listen to our concerns from the first night. They just shrugged them off like they didn't understand what I was talking about. I was trying to stay somewhere different than my usual BW. I will never stay, nor recommend a Sandman Hotel. Thanks to your hotel and a Quality Inn in Edmonton, we will go back to the BW. At least there's a breakfast included at the BW for a much more reasonable price and a much nicer room. Update your hotel, even the carpet on the 4th floor would agree.
