Super 8 by Wyndham Saskatoon Near Downtown

How does this place even have super 8 designation at this point. Does anyone come look at it , the place is trashed and in a terrible location

Room was dirty with old needles and blood spots on the bed, sheets, blanket and washroom. We also have photos of bed bugs, and dead cockroaches in various places.The management refused to give a refund.

Front desk was less than helpful but we support oir daughter that has been employed by the Super 8 Swift Current.

Do not stay here. Worst part of town. Bathroom didn’t have running water. Sheets had human hair with blood on them. The took out cat litter boxes before we got in the room. I’d rather sleep on a park bench than this place. Staff was unreal. Asked for a refund. He told us if we do t like it leave.

photos are not current, this place is very much degraded from what is shown. I was booked in by my company travel because my normal place was booked solid, had a very unpleasant night. Here is a list of some of the inadequacies: First room – ( I had to get them to change rooms for me) Shower enclosure falling apart – does not open or close properly Shower dirty inside – grey film on floor – bits of soap wrapper from last guest Bathroom dirty – the shower was next to the sink and there was toothpaste splatter on the sides of the shower stall All fixtures and handles still smeared with handprints from last guest. Main room: microwave inexplicably pulled out of cabinet and simply sitting on the floor. Dirty handprints on walls around bed Stained bedsheets Room locks did not engage – this is why I switched rooms – room was not secure. Second room bathroom floor dirty in corners Low shower pressure No cups/glasses in bathroom for brushing teeth etc. Towels and washcloths stained and grey General room in disrepair – dirty walls – etc. “Free breakfast included” simply did not exist even though it is advertised as part of the service – they had coffee in the lobby – the room where the breakfast was supposed to be served was empty – no food present – being used for non-functional ice machines In short – it was an unpleasant night and I transferred to another, much more expensive hotel for the remainder of my week. The area is also not great, I was awoken at about 3 am by the sounds of gunfire nearby, I counted at least 5 rounds discharged. The only thing more disturbing than the gunfire sound, was the fact that over the next 10 minutes I lay awake, I did not hear any police sirens. No one seemed to take any notice.

Biggest rip off, paid 160 wasnt expecting a 5 star stay but the pillows, blankets and even the towels were stained. Room smelled horrible bathroom was so gross I didn't shower in it. Went to walmart bought new sheets and blankets

horrible experience the second u step into ur room, the bedding was filthy and wrinkled, the room smelled bad also it was not cleaned AT ALL -1/10 worst hotel experience ever

First walked in and could see stains all over the bed and walls the bed even had dried. blood on the pillow case. The room made me feel itchy the min I walked in and had a really off puting smell. The door even looked like it had been kicked in with a patched hole behind the door and the lock being broken right off the door. I recommend to find a diffrent place to stay

Typical super 8. Dirty. Dbl charged us and then won't answer calls to sort that out.

Not the best area of town but the front concierge was great He watched my vehicle all night as I was kinda paranoid about vandalism and theft Room was super comfy and great too so

Room was filthy. No TV remote, weird chlorine smell in the room. The “ Breakfast included” was a paper bag with a muffin and a juice in it. Really sketchy part of town. Price was also a lot higher than I would have expected for how poor condition the room was in. $160 for 1 night. Do not stay here.

I spent over 50 nights in hotels per year but this would be the worst experience of staying in a hotel in my life. The receptionist picked up a phone call about hotel cancellation during my check-in. He talked for 5 min but could have put the call on hold until I checked in first. The room was dirty and all table surfaces were covered with dust except in the bathroom. The shower did not work with handle free playing and no water coming out. I did not take a shower in the morning and just left the hotel. The toilet was not stable when sitting on it and it could move from left to right a few inches. There was no coat hanger in the closet. The drawer handle of the night stand was hanging there, and the drawer was dirty. The security chain of the front door was missing, and the door handle to bathroom was loosely attached. The GIF power outlet cover plate was not in place with missing screws. There were holes on the wall due to the damage from the door handle, and other old patches on the wall. The lamp cover was damaged. I texted back after I received the welcome message from the hotel, but nobody offered to give me a different and better room. I will never come back to this hotel, and would have ranked it less than 0 if there were such a choice.
