If you're someone like me who counts a $70+ steak as a "splurge", steer clear of this place. You'll surely be disappointed. You won't enjoy the poor food quality at this restaurant, nor will you appreciate the low(not table height appropriate) black wicker cheapest of the cheap quality chairs that you'll be expected to sit on. My whole family was disappointed with our meals. The Keg is nothing like it used to be. You used to get premium quality steak. Now you get grossly seasoned steak - a steak that may or may not have the expectation to be beautifully marbleized, only to be tough and full of grizzle. Borderline inedible shrimp. Dirty plates. Just disgusting. I would've rather gone out to Swiss Chalet - irregardless of price. That's how pathetic the experience was.

This location is our go-to whenever we visit downtown Toronto. Always great food and service. The Keg never disappoints 👍

Not sure if it was a bad night, everyone Not on their game, but the vibe wasnt there. We made a reservation, stating it was our 32 wedding anniversary, apparently that note was missed. Our waiter didnt ask if we were celebrating anything special, we decided to let him know why we were there. We shared a meal, the second plate, that we had to remind him that we needed it, was a bread plate. Just nothing seemed to go right. The food was meh at best. No seasoning on the steak, the vegetables or the potatoes. And yes, we did share with our waiter our experience, and was very mediocre in his response. The set up for tables isn't the best, everyone seems to be on top of one another and our server seemed to have a hard time with the amount of tables he had. We had to remind him a couple times of things we had asked for. Just not good experience. Just make your decision carefully.

Not all Kegs are created equal and this one is one of the best. The steak was perfect. Service was excellent.
