Vancouver Gay Pride 2027
About This Event
Vancouver Gay Pride, Canada's third-largest LGBTQ+ party, happens every summer in the West End. That's Vancouver's old gay neighborhood, right on Davie Street.
The Sunday Parade pulls in over 650,000 people. They line Denman and Davie, with the North Shore mountains and English Bay in the background. It's a pretty stunning setting for a parade.
Pride Sunday on the West End beachfront, with those mountains across the water, makes for one of the best-looking Pride experiences anywhere. The week also brings the Sunset Beach Festival, along with a bunch of community events, and whatever Celebrities nightclub has cooked up.

Practical Tips
Use the accessible viewing zones
The Vancouver Pride Society sets up four accessible viewing zones along the parade route — much calmer than the crush along Howe Street if you're bringing a wheelchair, kids or older family.
Stay for Davie Village
The Davie Street festival runs 2pm to 10pm on the same day as the parade, so keep the afternoon open — the block party in the gay village is the real heart of Vancouver Pride.
