I can't recommend the Adara enough, the rooms are the perfect size for the three of us, its in the heart of the village, and the aircon runs crazy good. All the staff were really kind and really helpful, and always have a smile on their faces. The lobby has free cookies and tea for guests, and a luggage room to use before and after check in. If i had to find a problem, it would only be the slow elevator, but even that doesn't lower my rating. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.
Adara was a nice place. Great location. Ability to walk into Whistler and Blackcomb villages nearby. Easy walk to Mountain gondolas. Beds were very comfortable. Employees were pleasant. It was a pleasant experience with a few mild detractions. Initially they would not guarantee parking for us. We have two young children and did not want that uncertainty upon arrival. Eventually they said they would reserve parking. Online it says they have parking onsite, but once booked they just say first come, first served. That felt deceptive. The parking is not very pleasant. Cramped under the building and our stall had a leaking pipe overhead, so to empty the trunk you had to get a little wet. The WIFI did not function as instructed, but there is a tech team you call to get an authorization code, which did end up working. Small things, but inconvenient after a long drive. We arrived at three something and they said the room was ready, but we would have to wait until 4pm if we wanted to avoid a twenty dollar early check-in fee. That seems ridiculous. I can understand if we checked in at noon or something...I am not sure at this point if we were charged for that. Pool is small but nice for young kids. Hot tub worker. Coffee was not replenished by room cleaners. Everybody was very kind and pleasant, just a few detractions. Very comfortable.
Great location made accessing the village and alternative parking options (oversize vehicle) very convenient. Clean, well presented and staff were friendly!
Such a beautiful hotel. The staff were super welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, with great views of the hills nearby. We loved the bed, it was so comfortable!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Front desk lady was amazing! Location perfect. If you arent going out late at night probably ask for other side of hotel pretty loud after bars close
One-night stay in June. Room advertised as Mountain View - which jt was but it also overlooked the parking lot. “Balcony” needs work - it gets a 1/5. The room was comfortable (although we could smell chlorine from the pool). Weird flaws in the bathroom, eg - rotted wood in a couple of places that they tried to cover up (v. a full repair) which gave it a cheesy feel. Also, why not have REAL coffee (v. Instant) - that is a big miss. Excellent location and a wonderful time with my daughter so I gave it 4 stars but know that this is a B or B- hotel.
