lovely stay with lovely host, privacy, space, comfort, security, hot water, internet, TV, AC, river view, Japanese bidet toilet, etc. all there xD !
The owner is friendly, but speaks very poor English. The air conditioning is extremely noisy and our room was dirty: hair and stains in the shower, a dirty fork and food on the floor, used tissues next to the bed...
Good room with AC if you need a place for a night, nice size and nice Detroit / river view if you get the right room, clean with TV and complimentary tea, coffee and water, though no separate entrance and the bathroom is shared (if that matters). There is light traffic noise as it's near a road but ear plugs are included for free if needed.
We stayed two nights in the family room with bath. The location is very good. Facilities are okay as are the rooms, but we really didn't get much sleep during our stay. It was too hot and we suggest having some small fans on hand for people to use when necessary. The mattress also should be replaced as it wasn't suitable for two adults. Finally, there was loud music from nearby resident late into the second night, and soon after that shut off, someone's alarm started sounding, which kept running almost into the morning.
