About this place The Planit Restaurant & Lounge

The Planit Restaurant & Lounge

This downtown Winnipeg spot on Portage Avenue is a recognized LGBTQ+ venue, good for a casual meal or drinks. The Planit picked up an award from the LGBTQ* Chamber of Commerce back in 2015, named one of Winnipeg's best new businesses. It's an easygoing place, a restaurant and lounge rolled into one, where people from the community—and anyone else—can grab some food, socialize, or just have a drink. They also do catering and special events. So if you need to host something bigger, it's an option. It’s a comfortable, established part of Winnipeg’s LGBTQ+ scene, reflecting a city that makes room for everyone at the table.

Great location and atmosphere. The bar is missing some fundamental spirits. Haven't tried the food.
