CIPAC Derechos

CIPAC (Centro de Investigación y Promoción para América Central de Derechos Humanos) is one of Costa Rica's longest-running LGBTIQ+ rights organisations, founded in 1999 and based in San Pedro, San José. It focuses on human-rights research, advocacy, HIV prevention and public education, and was a key voice in the campaigns that led to marriage equality in 2020. Website: cipacdh.org.
