Hilton Garden Inn Guatemala City

The room looks very modern, but the bathroom is a bit cramped. The food is excellent, as is the service. The location is very central, allowing you to walk to several restaurants and other attractions.

I wasn't there as a guest, I only attended an event. The menus were delicious.

Great service and friendly staff!

The rooms were good and had a luxury feel. However, the overall service experience was very disappointing. The restaurant closes quite early at 9:30 PM, and no orders were accepted after that, which was inconvenient. The major issue was with the hot water in the bathroom the next morning. I informed the reception, and after some time, a maintenance staff member came and mentioned there was a boiler issue and asked for 5 minutes. However, even after 30 minutes, there was no update. We called reception again, and they said they would provide another room for shower use. After waiting another 15 minutes with no response, one of my family members had to go personally to collect the key. Unfortunately, that room also had no hot water. This process kept repeating, with multiple delays and no proper solution. More than an hour was wasted, even after I clearly informed them that I needed to leave for the airport before 12:30 PM. Due to their poor coordination and delay, I only reached the airport at 1:15 PM. The maintenance service was extremely poor, and the administration was unresponsive and irresponsible. At the end, the receptionist asked if they could compensate, but this does not make up for the inconvenience and stress caused. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Rooms are very small. No insulation from street noise. Toiletries have a cost. I do not recommend this place.

A very nice experience visiting the hotel. The breakfast buffet was undeniably good, the rooms are fine, although nothing extraordinary, and the hotel in general is quite clean. However, I had a problem with the payment (my card was charged twice), but they NEVER RESOLVED THE PROBLEM. So I practically paid double for the room, and the experience didn't justify it. VERY BAD.

Staff members know you by name. Rooms clean and confortable. Still the best option. Time after time this is our preferred option.
