Hotel Real de Castilla

We were extremely disappointed by the dark room with no windows with full of mosquitoes. The photos of the lobby, entrance and colonial style inner patio were beautiful but the room was something you feel like a prison cell. Though the hotel was located near central it was nice and quiet but I wouldn’t rate the room as three stars. There was not adequate lights in the room to read or do anything. We requested to shorten the date but they declined to refund. We ended up checking out after 2-3 hours after checking in.

We booked through Airbnb. Excellent price for a quiet compact room(no windows) right in the Centro area. Two blocks from the tren ligero línea 3 and one block from the tren ligero linea 2. Plenty of small shops just outside the door. Complimentary valet service was a nice surprise.

Beautiful and very well located

I've stayed here twice now, and it's one of the few hotels I've found that's truly clean, quiet, and has efficient staff service. It's also very reasonably priced. The location is fantastic, just steps from the cathedral. Everything is very centrally located. I promise to return soon.

Super central location, easily accessible on foot to many destinations (jewelry center, San Juan de Dios, Corona Market, etc.). The staff is incredibly friendly 😊 The cleanliness is excellent 👌, and the facilities are lovely.

We only went for the breakfasts and they were excellent and well-priced

Is located in downtown Guadalajara, rooms are clean, restroom was small and water was cold and some times hot it was hard to keep at the same temperature. The service was good and friendly.

Great location, but the room is very small.

The choice of room depends on whether you prefer lots of light or lots of noise. It's a matter of personal taste. Some have balconies with great views, while others are quiet and have terraces.

Excellent budget hotel on a mostly pedestrian street (car access to check in and out) , simple clean rooms, classic old building with interior courtyard so most rooms no outside windows just out to courtyard. A little bit noisy at night but ok for older downtown place bring ear plugs if sensitive to noise. Beautiful Mexican hospitality from friendly staff. Short walk to the best sites of Centro Guadalajara
