LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. NOT RECOMMENDED. I've stayed at this hotel twice, or at least tried to. The first time was in February: they had to move me to another hotel due to a water outage in the Barrio Antiguo (Old Quarter). The staff was very helpful, and the move went smoothly. I gave them a second chance in March, this time with my wife, and when we arrived around midnight to check in, they told us the air conditioning wasn't working due to a power outage and that they would move us to another hotel. So far, so good. But to our surprise, the hotel they took us to was under construction, with rooms containing only one single bed, bathrooms with no ventilation and filled with construction dust—in other words, suitable for one person and unfit for use. Obviously, we couldn't accept that option and found another hotel on the spot. Two weeks have passed since then, and our refund of $5,800 pesos for a two-night stay hasn't arrived, nor does it seem like they intend to, despite having promised it. When someone decides to go into hospitality, the first thing they need to take care of is their guests, their customers, and I don't see that here. I also don't see them having the minimum operating conditions. Thanks for reading.
Terrible service and Mr. Edwin was arrogant and very despotic.
I had a wonderful 3-day stay at Mina Suites in Monterrey and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The suites are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It felt more like having a private apartment than staying in a hotel. Everything was comfortable and well maintained, which made it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. The location is fantastic, close enough to everything I needed while still feeling quiet and safe. The Wi-Fi was excellent, which made working from the common area an absolute pleasure, and the team kept bringing me coffee, which was such a thoughtful touch. The rooftop is also a hidden gem. It gets plenty of sunlight in the afternoon and is a great place to unwind. What really stood out to me though was the service. Edwin, the owner, was amazing, genuinely kind and attentive, and even offered to transport my friend who has a disability to a nearby restaurant on his electric tricycle scooter, which meant a lot to us. The entire staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, and you can tell they truly care about making guests feel at home. If you’re looking for somewhere that combines comfort, convenience, and a personal touch, Mina Suites is a great choice. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Monterrey.
Terrible service, the room was infested, and they never sent me the bill. I was there for work and had to pay for it out of my own pocket.
Very clean, very friendly people, excellent service, the only drawback I had was that I'm a very light sleeper and the music in the restaurant kept me awake 😴
