Marcha de la Diversidad Monterrey

Monterrey's pride, locally known as the Marcha de la Diversidad, hit its 25th edition in 2026. The organizer, Movimiento por la Igualdad en Nuevo León, had activist Jennifer Aguayo as its spokesperson, according to Excélsior.

The event unfolds on a Saturday in June. Marchers meet at the General Anaya Metro station on Line 2 and make their way to the Explanada de los Héroes at the Macroplaza. In 2026, things changed: stage events kicked off at 3 p.m., with a concert by Ximena Sariñana, the edition's ambassador, followed by the march at 7 p.m. when it's cooler. Extra stages popped up at La Alameda and Plaza Zaragoza. The Gran Mariscal role was scrapped.

Nuevo León is conservative by Mexican standards, but you wouldn't know it from the turnout: over 100,000 participants showed up in 2025, according to Vanguardia.
The 2026 march went down on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with thousands in attendance, per Milenio - no official count, though. As of our check, the 2027 date hadn't been announced.
