Did not feel the most safe due to the crowd and general area. But the attendant was nice and the rooms are okay for the price. The hotel is a on street with many hotels. Needed a place to stay in town for calls in to work due to adverse weather. Checked in at 8pm. Parking lot was half empty or more. Random people in trucks just sitting in the parking lot with doors opened late at night as I had to respond to work calls and come/go. Creepy men on our floor who followed us. Rooms are updated but toilet only flushed if you held the lever down forever. The bed was old and had broken springs so sleep was not the most comfortable. The attendant was kind, very helpful, and friendly. Attendant put us in a room by the exit door and told us we could park closer to that door for easy in/out. Nice to be close to the car but the walls are also very thin so you hear people walk outside to come in, and the door opening and closing in the night etc. Didnt feel safest, but nothing happened. Room was discounted at $60+.

I tell you what this place has been phenomenal. Customer service Ram at the front desk has been outstanding in helping to accommodate me for my stay in every way possible.The rooms are super clean even being pet friendly..the cost for long term stay you can't beat it anywhere in Ames IA..like I said I can't say enough good things about this place..

Essential, yes, but more. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, new furniture, and the in room refrigerator is noiseless! The hallways are also very clean and well lighted.

Good cheap hotel .Nothing fancy

This is a cute little hotel. It's in a convenient location and the staff is so nice, friendly, and welcoming.

Had to stay for 2 weeks while my place was being worked on. Staff was awesome and always accommodating to any issues I had. Wasn’t sure how many days I needed to stay and they just made sure I had a room. They were great!!

Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I have stayed here several times and they always do as much as they can to help make it a pleasant stay. The beds were very clean and comfortable and probably the cleanest whitest towels I have ever seen. It is recently renovated with plenty of parking and a decent breakfast, clean exercise room, onsite laundry, and the pool area was also well maintained and clean. Will definitely be staying here again

I've been at the hotel for some time. Being here has been great. The staff is really nice and understanding when it comes to some situations. They are always able to help. Two of the housekeepers are really nice and friendly except one. The breakfast lady is awesome and she does a good job at what she does. The front entrance is always clean. The breakfast is good but wish there was more biscuits and gravy. Overall it has been a great experience.

Newly renovated. The owners are incredibly kind. Well lit parking lot. The breakfast was standard but included and the breakfast area was clean!
