What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the Palmer House as an exceptional example of Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie style, highlighting its beautiful restoration, original furnishings, and knowledgeable guides. However, some guests note that as an old house, it has an "old" smell and can have spiderwebs, with one reviewer feeling it was not worth the high rental cost.

Amazing property with a few things to know. Frank Lloyd Wright homes are always built to be unique so don’t expect typical layout/amenities. The main living space is amazing and always the focal point of his homes… the space blends with the outside environment. That being said it’s an old home so things are not perfect. When you get there or leave during the day it will smell stale. Air out the house via windows and the bathroom/office exhaust fans. That worked for us. Otherwise super cool to live a few days in a piece of history.

It smells old in there and definitely not worth $1700 for two nights with all the old spiderwebs… Great architecture but sad to see how it’s been misused.

If you're a fan of one of America's greatest architects, Frank Lloyd Wright, you're going want to stay here for a weekend! This is one of his finest Usonian Houses.
