Terrible customer service! Be careful when you book here. Your not booking with the property direct and the customer service is poor. They overbook and your left without a room. Nobody calls you back to apologize for their mistake.

Lovely place with only a short walk to the beach & boardwalk!

I booked the wrong dates accidentally and the hotel would not change the dates nor answer me. Such terrible customer service.

I had a vacuum cleaner laying in the middle of the hallway outside of my room. I almost fell over it trying to get into my room. Pictures online are so fake. Didn't look like my room at all. I requested extra towels, and other things. They did get back to me quickly each time but they said someone would get there within an hour so I expected these items when we got back from our event that night as that was 5 hours later and nothing until I reached out to them the next morning requesting for a second time. The flooring is very old. Air vent in AC was broken and the outlet situation for one person at least was right above our heads. No little shelf to place the phone on to charge. Not good to charge it with it laying on the bed as that can start a fire. Room was way over priced for an October stay. Walls are very thin. Can hear everyone's conversations. No where to sit to drink some coffee and no continental breakfast provided and with the cost I'm shocked it doesn't have someone small like bagels etc. I encourage anyone staying here to book elsewhere. Only reason I didn't give a 1 is because they responded to the emails timely each time. So I will give them a little grace there. There should always be at least 1 person at the hotel during day hours. Absolutely no one around qualify for a lower price for sure.

We checked in and were shocked with the room. It was nothing like the images online. It was sparse and had mismatched furniture. We left immediately. There was a long hair on the tub ledge. I would never stay in such a place and would not recommend you go here. Very deceiving

We stayed at the Melrose for 5 days . We found street parking right by the house. The location is perfect !! Our questions were answered promptly. It was a short walk into town and to the beach. We used the chairs provided. We often walked into Asbury and explored their downtown restaurants and coffee shops too. We even rented a swan paddle boat . Great memories made.

Great location! Parking can suck but there is a lot of free parking. Good and close restaurants walking distance, beach is right there, can view the sunrise from the balcony on second floor a bit. Cute lil space.
