Aspen Mountain Lodge

Rebekah was great. Great at answering questions and rectify my issue with the heat. If you're not sure about heating, ask. They have different setups depending on the room. The rooms are great for what they are. It's clean and the hot water works. Breakfast was enough for continental.

We really appreciate the value of Aspen Mountain Lodge. We have been coming here as a family for years during the ski season. The manager keeps it immaculate. While don’t expect the Ritz, do expect practical and straight forward rooms. Appreciate it for what it is. Affordable lodging in a VERY expensive place to even run a business. You cannot find lodging at this price except for a couple of places in town. It clean and great place to crash. The extra money you save can be spent on food and entertainment. Fuel up with the continental breakfast before you hit the slopes. Aspen should be enjoyed by all not just the super rich.

Traveled to Aspen for work, beautiful city. The location of Aspen Mountain Lodge was not far at all from the conference we attended, and we were able to walk for much of our stay from this location. The staff at the lodge was friendly and helpful. I removed a star because no one is on campus after a certain time to assist guests and you have to call a 1-800# or chat for help. Well, I had an issue getting into my room around 7:30PM. Luckily, they were able to reset the code remotely and the door was opened, but I wouldn't choose to stay at a hotel/lodge when there's no staff person onsite overnight - anything can happen and no one is there to assist guests. There was also a weird policy about towels. We stayed Monday-Thursday and I was told over chat (because no one is at the front desk after a certain time) that towels weren't refreshed during your stay. That may not be a huge deal to everyone, but for all the activities/walking - I didn't want to keep using the same two face towels for almost a whole week. Lastly, the rooms. I would just say if you're okay with the minimum accommodations, you'll be fine. I bring items with me to clean and that helped, but the bathrooms had me ready to be back home.

Love this place. Aspen is best when outdoors. This place keeps us central to everything and the staff is very attentive and friendly. I only hold back my praise to make sure it doesn’t get overbooked when I am trying to come back.

No parking to speak of. Walking on unlit streets at night is ridiculous. Drafty windows. Dogs barking from inside the hotel all hours of the night

Great location, super friendly staff, but the mattress was pretty hard. We got back to the property one night after about 9:00 PM to find no parking - had to park like two blocks away - that would have been nice to know in advance. The food was okay, pretty healthy selections. Pets and kids and people hanging out just outside the door were all pretty noisy.

The breakfast isn't conducive for healthcare workers and the hot tub is readily available during hours noted. IF you are on the first floor, it can be VERY loud, especially because people like to hang out by the beautiful fireplace! Staff are all friendly!

The rooms were abysmal. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world and am not a picky traveler but this was hands down the worst value I’ve ever seen. For the price, you’re better off camping nearby for free. Fluorescent hospital lighting, scuffed walls, sheets that felt bleached to oblivion, and supposedly “new” carpets that felt decades old. The location is great and the staff were fine but nothing can disguise a room that feels more like a hospital waiting room than a hotel.

Relatively inexpensive for Aspen. Old rooms with really old bathrooms, not a lot of sunlight and old furnishings. Beds not so comfortable. Great staff!!! Rebecca was super helpful. The pool is tiny and kind of gross. Hot tub was nice. Pool furniture literally fell apart while I was sitting in it. Nice breakfast! Cozy fireplace area, and fruit and hot drinks available all day long.

I do NOT recommend this hotel at ALL!!!! I’ve stayed at a good amount of hotels but this has to be the worst one of all! This hotel gives the same vibes as a motel. When I arrived the first day, my shower had hair in it. I tried going to the front desk to complain but no one was there. Then I wanted to look outside at the view because I said surely I could get over the hair in the shower, so I raised the blinds and then the tab to help raise the blinds broke! I then saw that the bath stopper was completely broken too! On top of that I didn’t notice the first day because I was so exhausted from the flight but the second day I got into bed and there were BLOOD STAINS ON THE SHEETS!!!! I texted the maintenance hotline once I noticed because again no one was at the front desk. They told me someone would get back with me but no one ever did. But, wait it gets better. The walls here are so thin that while I was waiting for maintenance I fell asleep and awoke abruptly because I could HEAR THE PEOPLE ABOVE ME HAVING SEX!!!! I am so happy I am leaving this hotel tomorrow smh. This is a shame. I am leaving pictures below. If Google would let me I would post the video too of the people upstairs. Horrible horrible horrible!!!!
