It's too bad one person has to ruin everything. I had my wet shoes drying by the fire this morning. The bald employee literally tells me "Don't do that" as there's a different guy eating breakfast in the lounge barefoot. Clowns.

I recently stayed at the Aspen Mountain Lodge with my parents and husky puppy from 3/28-3/30. Our stay exceeded our expectations! The lodge was cozy, well maintained and clean. The location was basically in walking distance of all the downtown Aspen spots (restaurants, parks and slopes). The hot tub and pool were perfect after a day of hiking and sightseeing. Breakfast in the morning was always punctual and had the essentials to help us fuel up for the days of exploring. I want to shoutout Rebecca at the front desk. She was amazing! She was very kind, professional, and went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. My husky was especially appreciative when Rebecca brought her a fan to lounge around in front of. Please give her a raise 🙌🏻 Overall, a great stay and a great value!

I booked a room specifically because it had a large balcony, but when I arrived I was given a completely different room that was smaller and had no balcony at all. Despite the clear difference in room type and price, I was offered no compensation. The hotel blamed Booking.com, and Booking.com blamed the hotel, leaving me stuck in the middle wasting a significant amount of time on the phone trying to resolve it. In the end, I paid for a room I never actually received. Extremely frustrating experience and very disappointing customer service. (Booking.com still can not get ahold of them to give me a refund, they are completely ignoring the issue)

OMG I was so disappointed in paid a lot of money to stay here and the staff failed me completely. They had a room full of guests making so much trouble and noise. The staff not once called the police, the guests were so disrespectful, disruptive and vulgar. It wasn’t until the third night thay the hotel kicked then out. Why can’t the staff be trained better and involve law enforcement right away I slept scared the entire stay. One night I even looked online to see if I could find another place near by to stay.

Ended up having to stay at Aspen Mountain Lodge as a last minute booking via booking.com during Presidents’ Day weekend due to flight cancellations. Ruben was incredible with his hospitality (storing bags, letting us work from the hotel, providing water and snacks). Will be coming back for him!
