Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) is Atlanta's annual week-long festival for queer communities of color in the South. In 2026, the theme is "Seeds of Resistance."
They've got an artist market, art shows, bingo, and dance parties. Expect queer film screenings, workshops, a variety show, and a pop-up thrift shop.
Events happen all over Little Five Points. Don't miss the Peach Pit Pageant, a drag competition, or HAWT SAUCE!, their queer dance party.
SFQP wants to make spaces that feel safe for LGBTQ+ people, especially queer people of color. Many events are all-ages; some are 18+. Tickets often use a sliding scale, and they promise no one gets turned away for not having money.
