Southern Fried Queer Pride
About This Event
Southern Fried Queer Pride is a grassroots, artist-run queer festival in Atlanta. It focuses on queer art and community in the South and takes place in June, while the city's main Atlanta Pride is in October. It runs for a week instead of a weekend.
The festival is built around a large artist market, dance parties, performances, workshops and a gallery opening. The 2026 edition was billed as the 12th annual. It ran from June 22 to 28 in Little 5 Points, with 7 Stages Theatre as the listed venue, under the theme 'Seeds of Resistance'. Organizers said it had their biggest artist market yet, with the outdoor stage moved next to the market. Evening sessions on June 24 and 27 ran from 6pm to 11pm around 394 Moreland Ave NE.
Little 5 Points is easy to reach on foot from Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
