Holiday Inn Express Bernalillo

Let the management know about a problem we had during our visit in the IHG member survey and received an email from the manager. While we weren’t upset by the problem and communicated it to the staff when we were there, the email was defensive and suggested that I didn’t know how TVs work (I’ve worked in cable for 25 years, I’m familiar). I was only complimentary about the staff in my review, so there was zero need to be defensive, but he was anyway. Won’t be back because of that alone.

We arrived late at night, and Josh was at the front desk. I didn’t feel welcomed—he was very rude and seemed high. He probably shouldn’t be working there, and it felt like he didn’t want to be there or help with what we needed. Irene was nice to us in the morning when we came down for breakfast

Usually stay here for business. They won’t answer phone calls.

Be careful when you are booking, I added a night and wound up with a second booking instead of having the extra day added to the original confirmation. I wound up being changed for a no-show even through we paid for 2 nights on the original booking, Todate they have not refunded the non-show charge, which was a higher rate as well. Room I was in needed some maintenance, amenities including breakfast was great. Friendly staff.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast buffet variety was surprisingly good 👌!

My husband (Noe Garcia and I) have stayed at many Holiday expresses all over the united States and I have to tell everyone this Holiday express here in Bernailillo NM is one of the top 5 we've stayed at! The staff is very attentive and the young lady who works the front desk (Rosie) is so informative and sweet she even jump right in there when my husband had an episode with his heart while I was at the store, she got him to our room and got his nitro glycerin under his tongue and stayed with him till I got back and he had come back around, and was back to himself. So I hope head quarters read these reviews because you need to know what a gem you have with Rosie Miranda and the wonderful staff you have at this location, if not a promotion at least a raise for Rosie Miranda. Thank you Rosie for what you did .
