Our fantastic waiter Sam showed us to a tucked away little table in the beer garden. He did a great job waiting on us and was very friendly. Great food and beer, Will return.

My nephew and I had a great meal here, beers were crisp, food was tasty, our waiter Sam was friendly and attended to all our needs, I will be sure to return soon!

We celebrated our wedding dinner at VPB and had the BEST time. The staff was amazing, the food was great, and the vibe was perfect for our group. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how fun and relaxed the night felt. Huge shoutout to Elise for making everything easy and memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Great Food The Best.

Not good. Especially in comparison to the other local and fresh options. Beer was one dimensional. Cheese board was fine but simple. Entrees were not good. I got a black bean burger with sweet potato fries- the fries were flavorless and overcooked and the burger had little flavor and I found a hair inside. My husband got a burger and curly fries which were both quite flavorless. Burlington offers way better in both beer and food.

The menu boasts to be featuring fresh and local sources - I’m not so sure. At the very best they’re buying local, freezing and reheating. My bbq maple burger was borderline tasteless with a ground beef patty that was very obviously frozen and pre-formed. My wife’s bean burger was also clearly frozen and even came with a hair in it. With so many obviously real farm to table options in Burlington, I’m not sure I’d give this one another shot.

I’m British and I’ve lived in the United States for 10 years, I get fish n’ chips in every state I visit and this by far is best I’ve had in the country. And a great place to fuel up before the marathon. Give this place some love!

Excellent beers. Little bit of history lesson with this being the first brewery in Vermont. Had a 6 beer tasting with everything from pilsner to citrus packed IPA’s and the maple ale. Beer snacks on happy hour are great value. Recommend the pretzel bites with Cabot beer cheese and their house made mustard. Deb behind the bar was so friendly and gave great nearby recommendations. We will be back on the next visit!
