My favorite bar in Monterey!

Saturday night, Valentine’s Day, 7 p.m. There were 35 patrons in the bar and only one bartender. No barback, no help. Completely unacceptable for a busy holiday weekend night. Won’t be back.

Great ambience, such a fun place to meet, chat, listen to music, enjoy a nice cocktail.

I’m only giving this place a 1 star because the security guard had great customer service. But trust me when I say this place has the slowest bartenders. ( At least on the weekends). I go to bars to catch a buzz. This place should be called sober city. Good luck getting your drinks, maybe you’ll have better luck than me.

One of my favorite places to go out in Monterey. Delicious drinks and I just love being inside Pearl Hour as it reminds me of an old-school speakeasy. If you're a local like me or just visiting Monterey, come to Pearl Hour for a great time and cozy atmosphere!

Rude bartenders.

Great ambiance and drinks here. I had the American Psycho and he had the Cherry Coke Float. Both very good. The bartender was kind and personable. They have an outdoor area as well, and live music on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Definitely check it out.

Myself and my 56 year old husband went for an after dinner drink and were told they couldn’t serve us because we didn’t have our ID. Talk about ridiculous! Guess they don’t need the business and 4 total people at the bar is enough for them. Super disappointing and for the bartenderess saying “I’m sooooooooooo sorry” didn’t seem authentic. Yuck!
