The room was dirty, and they took weeks to return my deposit. When I reached out about this the staff was rude as well. They complementary breakfast they offer for staying was just a bagel and yogurt cup, and the hot tub was out of service
Honestly this place was horrible. We were in the area for a race and 4 year anniversary. We walked into our room to it smelling like mold. Had to fight the window open to air it out. Everything was super outdated. I kid you not every single piece of furniture was missing knobs. We got 4 towels total. 2 body towels, 2 face towels. One of the body towels had two holes, with one hole big enough to fit my arm through. Went to the front desk to ask for more, they said they were all out, and they could have someone bring towels in the morning (when we checked out). The TV would only turn on and off and displayed “Welcome to the Bay Park Hotel” and even the buttons on the TV were messed up. The volume controlled the channel lol. We eventually just gave up with the tv. There was bright red hair in the shower drain and the water wouldn’t drain so we felt disgusting even getting in the shower at all. We wished we had brought shower shoes. The sink didn’t have a pressure regulator. The outlets wouldn’t hold a plug so we had to charge our electronics in the bathroom. The breakfast had no protein other than the pre-packaged hard boiled eggs that were warm to the touch and weren’t sitting in the fridge the whole morning. Same with the yogurt. During our stay, our card to the room stopped working and we had to take 3 trips to the front desk to have it resolved because she got the room number wrong despite having to verify my info to pull up our stay (we didn’t have our wallets because we went to the “intercontinental” breakfast). The floors were also so dirty they made my white socks turn almost black… Don’t recommend. Never EVER again.
Very clean and spacious. Excellent hotel except for a few things... they have a coffee maker in the room and a standard hotel- sized frig but NO MICROWAVE. I was told I could use the one in the main lobby. Fat chance. I am NOT going to run back and forth across the parking lot. Black Bear Diner is next door - good food. WiFi is available but wasn't great with my Verizon cell phone. Pillows are very comfy. For the price this is a good hotel. It would be a great one if the rooms had microwaves.
Absolute trash. The room stunk an absolutely putrid smell. No hot water so we got to take cold showers. The A/C didn’t work. All the TV channels were in Spanish. And every time we left the room the keycards had to be reprogrammed. The receptionist lady ran the water up front and it ran hot so she told us we were full of it. We left after the first night, we will never go back. Absolutely disgusting. I’ll never forget the smell. Half the hotel is abandoned which was super weird. Find a different place and check the reviews because this isn’t the place to be.
