I stayed at Hotel Clemons while attending a conference in Chattanooga, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I booked a two-bedroom suite, and while I expected something similar to a Homewood Suites or Residence Inn-style setup with a full kitchen, Hotel Clemons offered so much more personality, style, and charm. The moment you walk into the lobby, you get this fun, open, eclectic vibe. There’s a coffee bar right downstairs, which was incredibly convenient. I tried both the iced latte and the banana protein coffee drink, and they were delicious. A special shoutout to Will at the front desk, who checked me in and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a very artistic feel throughout. If you’re a Banksy fan, you’ll love the décor. The hallways and rooms feature Banksy-inspired artwork that gives the entire property a unique personality. The ceilings in the rooms are incredibly tall, which made the space feel even larger and more inviting. Everything was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The suite itself was fantastic—comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of room to spread out. It felt like having an apartment with the amenities of a boutique hotel. The room was exceptionally clean, and every detail seemed well maintained. One of my favorite surprises was the game area in the lobby. There was pool, ping pong, foosball, and plenty of places to relax and hang out. It created a fun, social atmosphere without ever feeling crowded or overwhelming. The location is another huge plus. Hotel Clemons sits in Chattanooga’s West Village, making it easy to walk to restaurants, bars, and attractions. I enjoyed meals at Old Gilman Grill and Easy Bistro, where the BOGO oyster happy hour was a highlight of my trip. If you need a quick lunch, Figgy’s Sandwich Shop is just down the street and worth a stop. One thing I noticed about Chattanooga is that many restaurants have limited lunch or dinner hours, so being in such a central location made planning meals much easier. Overall, Hotel Clemons delivered far more than I expected. Between the stylish design, spacious rooms, fun amenities, friendly staff, and unbeatable location, it offered incredible value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chattanooga.
This is our second time staying at hotel Clemons. The rooms are always nice and clean, and we love how spacious it is. Parking is easy, and it is in walking distance to anything you need!
We stayed here with our 3 young kids and it was the perfect 1 night stay as a halfway point on our long roadtrip. I actually wish we would have stayed a little longer. The rooms were huge, it’s more like a spacious apartment! Such a fun sophisticated industrial vibe with great charming restaurants and coffee/breakfast spots nearby. Service was fast and friendly. There were lots of games in the lobby like ping pong and foosball to keep them busy right before bedtime.
We parked on the street out front. We stayed in a one bedroom for about $99- very reasonable since it was a one bedroom apartment complete with a walk-in closet, fully stocked kitchen with dinette, stove, full size refrigerator and even a dishwasher. The temperature control was also great! Plenty of dinner choices around (brewery with restaurant downstairs closed at 9pm on a Tuesday). Looking forward to breakfast at the coffee shop tomorrow.
Front desk staff great. Coffee bar attendant on Memorial Day was very rude.
Adorable and conveniently located near most everything. The rooms are immaculately clean and stocked with amenities. There are board games and books available in the room but also in the lobby. A great place to stay. My daughter didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back!
Highly recommend! Visited Chatt with my mom for Mother’s Day and we had a 2bd / 2bth room which includes a full living room and eat-in kitchen. It was the perfect setup for us to each have our own space but also have room to just enjoy the accommodations. Very centrally located in the West Village. Be sure to ask about parking BEFORE paying for something. You can add a daily spot with in and out privileges for $25/day added to your room charge to park across the street. We managed to get a street spot on a Sunday right on Chestnut and skipped a day paying for parking which was nice. The rooms are clean, cozy and spacious. Our bedrooms were also interior so they are quiet and SUPER dark to sleep in. One room had an en-suite and the other room did not but the bathroom was right outside. Felt like staying at an Airbnb but with the amenities of a hotel. Plus a brewery (with a full menu) and a coffee shop downstairs.
