About this place Treetop Hideaways at Ruby Falls

Treetop Hideaways at Ruby Falls is a small set of treehouse-style rooms at 1708 Scenic Highway on Lookout Mountain. It's on the grounds of Ruby Falls, the cave and underground waterfall attraction. It's built for couples' getaways in the woods, not for exploring the city on foot. Google gives it 4.4 from about 55 reviews. This is mainstream lodging, not a gay venue. Downtown Chattanooga and its small gay bar scene are about 15 minutes away by car. Book well ahead, because there are only a handful of units.

Location is beautiful and will be even more so when construction by the entrance is over and done with. That did pose a problem leaving as construction equipment blocked us from leaving the property and we had to wait for somebody to move all of it to get out. The other reason for not giving 5 stars is because we had problems seeing the path at night because the lights along the trail were not lit up and we had to use our cell phones to light the way. With that said, it is adorable, cozy, and shabby chic. My husband and I and two kids enjoyed it. All the little touches and vibes as well as how close to all the good restaurants and shopping but still feeling like we were away in the mountains, was perfect.

Treetop Hideaways is an amazing place to relax and reconnect with nature. Staying in a beautifully designed treehouse surrounded by the forest was a unique and peaceful experience. The atmosphere is quiet, private, and perfect for anyone looking to escape the busy city. The treehouse was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying the views from the deck made the experience even more special. The property is well maintained, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. It's also conveniently located near attractions like Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountain, making it a great base for exploring the area. I highly recommend Treetop Hideaways for couples, families, or anyone looking for a unique getaway. It's a memorable experience that combines comfort, nature, and tranquility. I would definitely stay here again!

We took our five year old granddaughter to Chattanooga for an overnight to visit the Tennessee Aquarium and the Creative Discovery Museum. Of all we did, I think her favorite place was the Dogwood Treehouse!!

Great place to stay. It really was so nice to be outside the city and the peaceful nights were very pleasant. Everything was clean and the complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Loved the outdoor shower, loved being on Lookout Mountain, everything we needed or were looking for was within 15 min. It was too warm for a fire and we were only there for 2 nights, would have taken more advantage of all the amenities if we had been planning a longer stay. Hope to do it again one day with the grandkids!
