The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Room was a bit dark, likely due to the facing direction and low natural light. Walking distance to several restaurants we visited. Typically stay at places that provide breakfast, so this was definitely missed.

The service was excellent… from the front desk to the Forge Restaurant. Excellent!! The kids that are staying here are having a great time.

I was in town for a wedding and this was the recommended hotel. I'm a Hilton Gold member and I was recognized as such when I checked in. The hotel is nice and spacious. My room was clean and very comfortable, with a small couch, table and chair. The bathroom was well kept, with plenty of space for your toiletries. However, I was given a room on the second floor that looked out onto the lobby roof and the parking garage. I expected a room with a better view given my Gold status. The staff was pleasant and helpful. However, I found the internet appeared to be spotty at times. You had to reconnect every morning to the internet, which I do not recall this being required at other Hilton properties I stayed at, especially a Curio Collection hotel. In addition, you sometimes had to reconnect while in your room. One day, I went down to breakfast and although I re-checked onto the internet that morning, by the time I got downstairs, it was off again and I had to re-check in again. The parking garage on the property was free (you need to pull a ticket at first), and you get in and out with your room key. However, if you should stay passed your checkout time (like I did for lunch), when I went to use the key to leave the garage, it did not work. I had to repark, go back to the Front Desk and get the key card re-programmed. The gentleman at the Front Desk said the key card becomes nonresponsive at checkout time. I recommend the Front Desk inform its guests of this cutoff so that if you should enjoy lunch there or want to walk around the area before leaving, you are aware of this situation before you walk out to the garage and have to come back in.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an incredible experience. We were disappointed the restaurant was out of so many dishes , several we had hoped to try. They indicated the conference has overwhelmed them. I don't understand this since they knew a large conference was coming, you would think food services would have prepared adequately. I mean I understand being out of one thing but we tried in at least 4 items and were told they were sorry. I was disappointed, I am a local and wanted to see if it was worth bringing my hubby back.

After a less-than-great experience at another hotel earlier in our trip, staying at The Chattanoogan Hotel was such a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. You can tell the property is well cared for, and the attention to detail really stood out. We were in town for a wedding, so we didn’t get nearly enough time to enjoy all of the amenities, but we loved exploring the property and were pleasantly surprised to find a Starbucks right in the lobby! It was such a convenient and thoughtful addition. The location was fantastic, the atmosphere was inviting, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We left wishing we had booked a longer stay. If you’re visiting Chattanooga, I highly recommend The Chattanoogan Hotel. We will absolutely be back!

Walls thin, can hear other room snoring (loud). cold shower no hot water no in room microwave, building warm then cold then muggy. Room took 3 days to finally cool. Staff is great the restaurant was awesome. The automated parking went down causing a line and delay when attempted to notify for help was not received well and unable to understand the situation had to convince to send help.

Our conference was held here and the staff was absolutely exceptional. Great food and service. There are plenty of outdoor places to sit to get to know people. Great gathering place.

The Chattanoogan is a great place for a conference! With multiple rooms and plenty of seating a group of almost 500 and it didn’t feel crowded. The hotel staff was wonderful and so kind! There’s a Starbucks onsite which is nice! There’s also the Forge and High Rail (rooftop bar) There’s a lot of events in the evenings for guests or those in Chattanooga. Highly recommend for a conference :)

The team at the hotel wa as great, attending a conference event - and having to manage a great deal of challenge around my stay - they were friendly and efficient - if you are looking for a place to host a work event this hotels gets people and are super efficient !
