The Westin Chicago River North

Great location close to the hustle and bustle of River North. View was awesome. Room was spacious. Not a fan of the low toilet seat and bathroom has smell of urine.

Do not book this hotel for a room block. We had multiple additional false charges, and our guests were charged for rooms that were prepaid. We set up an event with a contract from 5-9 PM and when we got there, they said it was 6-8PM despite our contract. The Westin has dropped the ball, and we will not be staying with them again.

This property never disappoints in the many years I have been visiting Chicago. The staff and experience are top notch and the location is ideal. Thank you for the consistently wonderful stays! Thank you also for the amazing view from my most recent stay.

Very clean. Great location near the river walk. One issue we encountered, that most people won’t have an issue with is you can’t take the stairs. As someone who doesn’t enjoy elevators there was no choice here.

If I could give the service 10 more stars, I would. Starting with Keith, the doorman, who has such a great and wonderful welcoming spirit and was so kind and really helped us with a whole lot of crazy stuff on our cart. Then James, who we have had the privilege of seeing every time we come to this hotel and let me tell you he is the heart for sure! This man goes above and beyond and spreads love and joy to everyone. Jimmy was the second Bellman we met and he was so great as well always ready to help with a smile. Jill checked us in and wow she was so very wonderful. Really helped me with a lot of questions I had and didn’t even blink an eye.

Right on the river. The staff are all very kind and happy to be of assistance.

Everything was excellent but parking, If you visit downtown Chicago, don't park with hotels. They're so many places when you may find very cheap Parking. Use parking apps for that .

I stayed at the Westin Chicago River North for a convention recently and I was so in love with my corner room. I had a view of the River that was magical. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. The restaurant in the hotel had wonderful food and our server was so engaging. The front desk staff were friendly and I happy with the overall stay. One note - this hotel is about a 15 minute Uber ride to the Convention Center is you are going for work

I don’t typically put a lot of thought into my hotel stays but this one absolutely wowed me. The hotel is beautiful with great views and the most comfortable rooms I’ve stayed in in a long time. The staff put it over the top though. The front desk, the gym and even in the halls everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. The gym was so well equipped it was almost overwhelming and the man working there (I believe he’s a personal trainer) was extremely helpful. A+ experience all the way. This is my Chicago hotel from now on.

Beautiful marriott property by the river offering stunning views of the city skyline. The hotel definitely needs some upgrade as it’s old styled.
